Current Student Veterans affected by Furloughs

The offices of University Mission and Ministry and the Center for Veterans Affairs are co-hosting an event to offer assistance to our student veterans affected by the government shutdown furloughs. Current student veterans are invited to stop by the International Conference Center (ICC) United Nations Boardroom on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from noon until 4 receive a free H-E-B gift card to help families in need of groceries, fuel, baby items, or any other necessities (while supplies last). A representative from the San Antonio Vet Center, Raymond P. Kaloplastos, First Sergeant, USA, INF (Ret.), Veterans Outreach Program Specialist will also be on site to offer counseling and advice for veterans and their families.
