The University of the Incarnate Word is proud to serve as an educational provider for Army soldiers. We are pleased to provide programs and courses that are military friendly.
You will have a personal advisor who will help along the way of achieving your degree. You can complete a regionally accredited degree from an institution founded in 1881 without ever coming to campus—but we would love to have you come to commencement!
Students should always consult their service education office before engaging in any voluntary education endeavor.
Useful Army educational links:
Active Duty Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserves should apply for TA through their GoArmyEd account. GoArmyEd students apply through http://www.goarmyed.com.
Important: GoArmyEd students using Tuition Assistance must use the GoArmyEd Portal to apply and register for classes.
If you are an Army student, contact an ACES counselor or the Education Center to assign University of the Incarnate Word as the home institution and make a choice of degree. Once the admissions team receives your application, a welcome message is sent to the military email on the GoArmy application with more information.
Catch up on the latest news, announcements and helpful information every month. August 2018 issue includes a word from the Dean and meet your advisors.
UIW employs a dedicated Military and Veterans Affairs staff to assist with military benefits.
